Making a Monoprint with Andrea Fono

Arrive with your enthusiasm and open mind. Andrea will supply all art materials needed.

For the first 15 minutes, Andrea will demonstrate how quick and simple monoprinting is. She will paint on a small piece of plexi-glass and then run it through the press to show you the entire process.

Then it is your turn, at which point you pick and mix your colors, and then, with a brayer, you roll out the paint onto the plexi-glass. In a matter of minutes you can make your design and image with a brush, other tools, or, Andrea's favorite method, finger-painting.

It is a moment of delight and surprise when you see the final result. Andrea will be by your side the whole time, sharing with you little artist tricks and cheering you on.
